stop horse slaughter

horse slaughter is REAL! it happens everyday , the torture and horror that these favored animals are subjected to is hainus and dispicable. i myself was ignorant to what happens, but JILL CURTIS enlightened me to see the truth of what happens to them when they become un-usefull to the owner. they are not un-wanted,just not usefull. anyone who has a horse needs to be aware of the reality,that hundreds of thousands of horses are sent each year to this fate, for what reason? horses being slaughtered is not by any means a humane way of disposal. we horseman need to be responsible for our animals no matter whose hands they are in,and using slaughter as an excuse for disposal is not responsible. we need to start with the breeding of these animals to ensure there is not an excess of horses with no where to go ,and humane euthanasia when a horse is no longer usefull for whatever reason so he will pass with dignity ,not the smell of fear ,confusion and death..................
